PCS for the ESS of G-Philos

The PCS for the ESS of G-Philos have various product lines ranging from 50 kW to 1,000 kW. In addition to the general demand management functions, it also has synchronization functions with renewable energy, such as solar power generation or wind power generation, and also supports various special functions such as emergency power (UPS) functions in the case of black-outs.

The demand management and emergency power (UPS) function stabilizes the grid through a power shift and peak shaving operations during normal times, and it reduces the electric fees of customers (electricity rates), and in the case of black-outs to the power grid, it uses the emergency (UPS) function as it is designed to supply electricity stably for major loads.

electric vehicle regenerative energy system

The regenerative energy system of G-Philos is a system linked to the energy storage system (ESS) that converts the regenerative energy generated by EV brakes while driving at high speeds to DC/DC conversion. Generally, when an EV brakes, up to about 500 kW of high power and 2000V of high voltage is generated in a short period of time of about 10-30 seconds. The regenerative energy system developed by G-Philos applies high voltage/high power buffering technologies and energy buffering technologies that are unique to G-Philos, in order to stably convert such electric power. In particular, it is designed for direct linking of the regenerative system with the energy storage system (ESS).
