POWER SOLUTION

Fuel cell systems

What are
fuel cells?

A highly efficient eco-friendly generation system that produces both electricity and
heat (hot water) using gas.

  • Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell
  • Produces electricity and heat through the chemical reaction of hydrogen with the city gas and oxygen
in the air (Generation efficiency over 35%, heat efficiency over 50%, and total efficiency over 85%)
  • Operated 365 days a year (ON/OFF function)

Fuel cell features

Reduced maintenance cost

It is a highly efficient product that conserves 31% of the energy consumption compared to existing generation systems, and has an approximately 45% carbon dioxide emission mitigation effect, as well as being an eco-friendly product that saves on the energy costs for buildings and homes.

Hot water volume by kW ※ The amount of hot water is based on △T = 40℃ (20℃ → 60℃)
  1. 1kW (city gas 0.26Nm³)1kWh Electricity + 30L (60℃ hot water, per hour)
  2. 5kW (city gas 1.30Nm³)5kWh Electricity + 150L (60℃ hot water, per hour)
  3. 10kW (city gas 2.60Nm³)10kWh Electricity + 300L (60℃ hot water, per hour)
Safety

Hydrogen gases used by the fuel cell are not discharged, and the vapor is held in, and therefore it does not explode or catch fire.

In addition, due to the character of hydrogen gas that is light and spreads easily through the air,
it is not dangerous at all.

Fuel cells that is considerate of the environment

When using a 1 kW fuel cell, 1,783 kg of carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced in one year.
This is equivalent to a passenger vehicle traveling for 8,320km and this can replace
6,610 young nut pine trees.
